Application of Artificial Intelligence in Education: Opportunities, Challenges, and Suggestions

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into education has emerged as a transformative trend, revolutionizing traditional teaching and learning methods. In this paper, we explore the applications and implications of using AI in education. First, it outlines the major opportunities of AI in enhancing teaching and learning, such as providing personalized and adaptive learning, intelligent tutoring systems, and automated assessment. However, AI also brings challenges including high upfront costs, data privacy concerns, and the need to rethink curricula and teacher roles. To maximize the benefits of AI, several recommendations are provided, including developing robust AI systems, creating supportive policies and so on.
