The Application Law of the Flos Inulae in “Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang” Based on Data Mining

Objective: To explore the medication pattern of flos inulae-containig-Ta I ping Sheng hui Fang, and to lay a basis for modern clinical medication. Methods: Excel2021, SPSS modeler 18.0, and SPSS Statistics 27 software, the frequency methods statistics, association rule statistics, and cluster analysis were used to collect the prescriptions containing flos inulae in Tai ping Sheng hui Fang, and statistically analyzed the effective prescriptions.. Results: 157 formulas with 148 flavors were included in “Taiping Shenghui Fang”, with a total frequency of 1519 times, 21 flavors were used in high frequency, and the top 10 medicines in order of frequency were: Flos Inulae, Licorice, Red Poria cocos, Peucedani Radix, Pinellia ternate, Fructus aurantia, Ginseng, Saposhnikoviae Radi, White mulberry root-bark, Betel nut and Cassia twig. The efficacy categories of the drugs are mainly focused on phlegm-transtorming cough-stopping and panting-alleviating medicines, Tonic medicines and Exterior-releasing medicines; and the medicinal properties are mainly warm and slightly cold; bitter flavor and pungent flavor are the main flavors of the medicine. Lungs and spleen are meridian affinity of the medicine. Most of the dosage forms are powder. The association rules yielded 19 combinations its main treatment diseases were mainly phlegm-fluid disorders, and its association rules yielded 23 combinations, which were categorized into 4 classes by cluster analysis. Conclusions: In the formula of Tai ping Sheng hui fang containing the flos inulae, in addition to being combined with other drugs in this category, flos inulae is often used in combination with drugs, which is tonic medicines, and is often used in phlegm-fluid retention, and it can be used as a reference for the clinical applications.
