A Study on the Application of Metaverse in Vocational Education

The metaverse is a new form of teaching and learning, which points out the way forward and the direction of endeavour for the form of teaching and learning. The superiority of the metaverse has been emphasized in the case of the new pneumonia epidemic. The metaverse brings new life and learning opportunities to teachers, students, businesses and participants. Educational meta-ecology is a driven meta-ecology that is driven by factors such as real needs, market needs, individual needs and macro-environment. It provides an immersive, authentic, interactive, innovative, diversified and synergistic educational meta-ecology for education, which can effectively promote educational teaching, reform and innovation, and better promote the development of education. The era of metaverse requires higher vocational colleges to have an objective cognition of metaverse, and it needs to be applied to empower higher vocational colleges. We should use the educational metaverse to promote the reform of teaching methods in higher vocational colleges and universities, and at the same time, solve the difficulties faced by higher vocational colleges and universities. On this basis, we analyze the potential risks such as privacy risk and addiction risk, and put forward corresponding coping strategies, with a view to providing certain reference significance for the high-quality development of higher education institutions.
