Research on VR Medical Surgery Training System with Multi-User Collaboration

Virtual reality and internet communication technology have developed rapidly, and medical surgery training systems based on virtual reality have gradually matured, generating many new demands. A multi-user collaborative framework design is proposed to address the shortcomings of most medical surgery training systems that can only achieve single user operations, in order to meet the needs of collaborative training in virtual reality teaching processes. Based on the characteristics of medical surgery, a multi-user collaborative simulation surgery training system for laparoscopic cholecystectomy was implemented through frame synchronization of object positions and shared events. Finally, comparative testing and analysis were conducted on various aspects such as usage effectiveness and operational performance, indicating that the system has good performance and improves the learning effectiveness of trainers.
