A Study on the Application of Scaffolding Teaching Model in Middle School Mathematics Teaching

The new standard emphasizes that students should actively participate in classroom activities, focusing on cultivating students' ability of independent inquiry and cooperative learning, developing core literacy and improving comprehensive quality. As a result, the traditional teaching mode is not enough to meet the requirements of the new standards for teaching. Therefore, this paper applies the scaffolding teaching model developed on the basis of constructivist theory to the teaching activities of middle school mathematics. In this paper, we will take “the image and properties of quadratic functions, the second lesson” as an example, based on this model for teaching design. It tries to provide a way of thinking about math teaching and improving the efficiency of teaching.
