Exploration on the Reform of Computer Hardware Courses Through-Teaching Based on Results-Oriented

Due to the strong foundation, extensive knowledge content and high practical requirements of hardware courses in computer majors, traditional teaching methods often struggle to adequately support the achievement of the skills and knowledge demanded by engineering education professional certification. In this paper, we propose the idea of reorganizing the knowledge system of computer major series hardware courses through course group integration. We aim to redesign the entire teaching process of each hardware course in alignment with the graduation goals. Guided by the student-centered teaching theory, we actively explore the transformation of teaching elements, including teaching subjects, objectives, methods, situations and evaluation. Recent hardware teaching practices have demonstrated a significant improvement in students' interest and engagement in hardware courses, as well as their engineering literacy and ability to solve complex problems related to computer hardware systems.
