Clinical Study on the Treatment of Perimenopausal Emotional Disorders with Modified Huanglian Wendan Tang

Objective: To explore the effectiveness of modified Huanglian Wendan Tang in treating perimenopausal emotional disorders. Method: Sixty patients with perimenopausal emotional disorders admitted to our hospital from December 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with Shugan Jieyu Capsule, while the treatment group was treated with Huanglian Wendan Tang. Compare the clinical efficacy, Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) scores, and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) scores between the two groups before and after treatment. Result: The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the HAMD and HAMA scores of the two groups significantly decreased, and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of modified Huanglian Wendan Tang in the treatment of perimenopausal emotional disorders can significantly improve clinical efficacy, and improve quality of life.
