Design and Implementation of a PV Hybrid Air-Water Cooling System

Solar photovoltaic panels are one of the renewable energy sources that are developed on a regular basis. The efficiency of solar panel systems is affected by a variety of parameters, including the outside temperature, sunlight, weather conditions, and irradiation. The temperature of the system rises when a photovoltaic panel generates power from solar energy. The output voltage reduces dramatically as the temperature rises. When the output voltage falls, the output power falls as well, and energy is lost. If the loss is minimized, the temperature of the system should be reduced. The output of the system can be boosted by lowering its temperature. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the different cooling methods that can keep temperatures within a particular range. It compares output power in a PV panel without a cooling system and with a hybrid air-and-water cooling system. Installing a basic DC water pump and a DC fan at the same time to reduce the temperature. When the system’s temperature exceeds a specified threshold, the water pump and fan activate, assisting in the cooling of the system. When the temperature falls below the stated limit, the water pump and fan will once again stop. The power on the PV panel will be increased using this method by adjusting the temperature.
