Review of Wind Power Prediction Methods Based on Artificial Intelligence Technology

Accurate and reliable wind power prediction is the key to realize the smooth grid connection of wind power generation. However, the influence of wind speed, wind direction, and air density and other factors leads to the high randomness and uncertainty of wind power, which brings great challenges to the prediction work. In view of the current large-scale grid connection demand of wind power new energy, the significance and method classification of wind power power prediction are discussed from many angles. This paper summarizes the latest applications of artificial intelligence technology in the field of wind power prediction, including traditional machine learning and deep learning, and compares and summarizes them. At present, deep learning prediction method is the mainstream method, and data processing and model training and robustness are the key factors. Finally, the future trends and research innovations of AI technology in wind power prediction are discussed.
