Design and Analysis of Antenna Tower Tooling with High Stiffness for Complex Vibration Environments

An antenna mount must be able to function properly in a complex vibration environment characterized by strong vibration, high frequency, large swing, and small cycle. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a vibration test on the antenna mount, and the tooling used for the antenna mount must possess high strength and rigidity while being adaptable. This paper presents the design of a multi-bar, sinking tower type tooling based on the structural characteristics of the antenna mount. Finite element analysis is performed on the tooling, and the results of modal analysis indicate that the first-order frequency of the tower tooling is 221.3Hz, surpassing the upper limit of the 200Hz vibration spectrum. Additionally, the results of sinusoidal vibration analysis reveal that the maximum stress value is 11Map, which is significantly lower than the permissible stress value of the tooling material. The tower structure proposed in this paper can serve as a valuable reference for the design of similar antenna holder tooling.
