Improved Droop Control Strategy Based on the Parallel Operation of a Single-Phase Inverter

In view of the problem that reactive power cannot be evenly divided when multiple inverters operate in parallel in low-voltage microgrid, this paper proposes an improved droop control strategy based on virtual impedance. By analyzing the working principle of droop control and the equal distribution condition of reactive power, this strategy adds virtual impedance link based on the traditional droop control to reduce the impedance difference of the line, and change the resistance ratio of the circuit to improve the inductance component, and make it more in line with the requirements of droop control, so as to improve the equal distribution of reactive power. To verify the effectiveness of this strategy, the simulation model is verified with MATLAB/Simlink. The results show that the improved control strategy can effectively improve the average separation accuracy of reactive power, which verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
