Application of SPMOA optimization algorithm in heliostat field parameter optimization

In order to achieve the goal of “carbon peak” and “carbon neutrality”, it is urgent to build a new power system with new energy as the main body. Tower solar thermal power generation is a new type of low-carbon and environmentally friendly clean energy technology. However, at present, the efficiency of solar power generation is affected by various factors, and it is always unable to store and transport power with maximum efficiency, among which the heliostat layout is the most influential, so how to optimize the heliostat field has become the biggest problem. To this end, we propose an innovative Stepwise Particle Movement Optimization Algorithm (SPMOA). Based on Monte Carlo Ray Tracing method, the field of circular helioscope is discussed in depth and the corresponding mathematical model is established. In the calculation process, we use the stepwise moving constraint exclusion particle optimization algorithm (SPMOA). The solution space is fully explored through particle movement simulation, velocity updating mechanism and randomness factor. The goal is to find a solution that maximizes the annual average thermal power output per mirror area while ensuring that the rated power is achieved. Finally, the position coordinates of the absorption tower, the size of each heliostat, the installation height, the position coordinates, and the maximum output thermal efficiency are obtained under the specified position.
