A Power System Disturbance Localization Method Based on the Dice Coefficient Criterion

When a disturbance occurs in the power system, it is necessary to quickly and accurately locate the location of the disturbance, but at present, due to the limited number of synchronous Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) can not realize the monitoring of the whole system, and can only make use of the limited monitoring data to carry out the disturbance localization analysis. Considering the sparseness of the monitoring data, combining the relationship between the branch current and the node voltage, a cutter disturbance localization model based on the theory of compressed sensing is constructed and an improved OMP algorithm based on the Dice coefficient criterion (DOMP algorithm) is proposed. The load-shedding disturbance localization experiments are carried out in the IEEE-39 node system. Simulation results show that the DOMP algorithm outperforms the original OMP algorithm in terms of accuracy and success rate for disturbance localization.
