Improved Design and Analysis of Antenna’s Support under Complex Vibration and Shock Environments

The antenna’s support plays a crucial role in supporting the antenna. Its stiffness directly impacts the stability and pointing accuracy of the antenna, necessitating high stiffness and strength. However, the current antenna’s support has a low first-order frequency, which poses a risk of damage to the antenna in a strong vibration and impact environment. To address this issue, this paper proposes an improvement by widening the width of the three support arms and increasing the ribs inside them. Modal simulation analysis reveals that the first-order frequency of the antenna’s support increases by 38.8% from 148.9 Hz to 206.7 Hz. Moreover, vibration and impact simulation results demonstrate that the strength of the improved antenna’s support meets the design requirements. The structural form and improved design method presented in this paper can serve as a reference for optimizing similar antenna’s support structures.
