Radar Signal Sorting Based on Ordered Dynamic Clustering Algorithm

To address the issues and limitations encountered by dynamic clustering algorithms in radar sorting applications, and to improve the accuracy and robustness of radar sorting algorithms, this paper proposes an improved dynamic clustering algorithm called Ordered Dynamic Clustering Algorithm. By introducing sorting of pulse parameters, the original algorithm is optimized to better differentiate complex radar systems such as frequency hopping radars, enabling effective discrimination of radars with different densities under a single threshold. Moreover, a cluster merging step is added to address the problem of excessive segmentation at low thresholds in the original algorithm. Through comparative simulations and practical engineering applications, the effectiveness of the algorithm has been validated. The research findings can be applied to the sorting optimization of multi-system radars with large amounts of data.
