Metaverse: Perception and Awareness Among Millennial Generation

The inception and development of the metaverse has opened a myriad of opportunities to provide valuable product offerings to users that offer a holistic user experience. However, this opportunity has not been explored yet due to various limitations, technological limitations being one of them, but the psychological aspect is as crucial. The perception consumers have towards metaverse is a critical factor that needs to be studied to improve the offering of metaverse to suit the needs of the consumers better. This research intends to understand the awareness and perception of the metaverse among the millennial generation. The level of awareness they have regarding various aspects of the metaverse and the myriad of possibilities it offers. Furthermore, the perception they have regarding the current features of the metaverse platform and what are the limitations they see have a direct impact on their level of adoption. Ultimately, this research informs how the metaverse can be integrated into their lives in meaningful ways.
