Research on coal train car number recognition algorithm based on TextSnake and SAR

This study introduces the application of TextSnake algorithm in locating the coal train car number image, extracts relevant features from the coal train car number image and locates the number position accurately by training, and elaborates the character recognition algorithm (SAR) to recognize the characters of the localized coal train car number part of the image. The experiments show that the method shows superior performance in the test data and can accurately locate and recognize the car numbers of coal trains, suggesting a new idea for intelligent car number recognition.
