Image Processing Techniques in Unattended Substations

At present, most of the use of inspection robots is still in the image acquisition stage, fault identification and meter reading process still requires manual participation, and does not achieve complete intelligence. Therefore, this paper focuses on the key technologies of image processing technology involved in unattended substations, and systematically introduces the infrared image segmentation technology of power equipment, the image enhancement technology of pointer meter and the automatic identification technology of pointer meter, etc., so as to realise the automatic judgement of faults and the intelligent reading of meters. Using the techniques mentioned in this paper, morphological denoising can be utilized to remove the interference of small power devices and improve the image accuracy.
