Research on Near- Electric Warning Method of High-Altitude Construction Machinery

The high-altitude construction robot arm under the high-voltage transmission line has the risk of electric shock, and personal safety accidents often occur. The metal manipulator can cause the distortion of the electric field in the transmission line. The development of the near electric warning device needs the study of the electric field intensity of the critical safe distance of the robot arm to provide the basis. The modeling and simulation of a 10 kV single-loop horizontal transmission line are carried out, and the electric field strength of the metal boom under different positions and ground conditions is calculated. The critical safe distance field strength was found to be 3.1 to 3.4 times that without the metal arm. An electric field sensor based on the principle of space capacitive coupling is designed and fabricated. Its performance is verified on a 10 kV overhead line simulation platform. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results. It can be used in the research and development of the near electric warning device of the metal arm for the subsequent high-altitude operation.
