Indoor Channel Characterization Based on Directional Measurements at 140 GHz

In this paper we present the results of 140 GHz propagation channel measurements in a corridor and indoor industrial environments at Durham University. Both Line-of-Sight (LoS) and None-Line-of-Sight (NLoS) measurements were carried out with a rotated directional antenna at the transmitter to estimate the angle of departure of the multipath components (MPCs). Estimated channel parameters include Power Delay Profiles (PDP), Angular Spread (AS), and Root-Mean-Square (RMS) Delay Spread. In addition, the path loss coefficients are presented for both the Close-In (CI) and the Floating-Intercept (FI) Models.
