Application Research of Intelligent Robot in Substation Operation and Maintenance System

Based on machine vision technology, this paper reasonably plans the inspection route of the intelligent substation operation and maintenance inspection robot, so that the inspection robot in the substation can conduct autonomous navigation. The system uses PIC16F73 as the main control chip to monitor the substation inspection devices and lines in real time. The software control algorithm adopts the combination of the grid method and the ant colony clustering method, so that the substation inspection robot can obtain an optimal substation patrol path. Then use database technology and VC++ to develop and establish an electronic map system with global planning functions. The test results show that under the influence of various weather, light and other factors, the overall recognition effect of the intelligent robot for the operation and maintenance inspection in the substation reached 99.19%.
