Noise in common-base transistor mixers with HF feedback from the output

It is shown that in the limit of stability the noise figure of common-base transistor mixers with HF feedback from the output is equal to the noise figure of the corresponding HF amplifier. A very substantial improvement in noise figure can be obtained by this type of feedback.
