Conducting a Comparative Analysis of Performance Metrics within the IMT-E Band involves Evaluating the Effectiveness of Dipole and Helical Antennas at a Center Frequency of 2.6 GHz

The study aims to compare a new antenna design within the IMT-E band centered at 2.6 GHz against standard dipole and helical antennas. Twenty-eight samples were categorized into four groups based on frequency ranges. Using CADFEKO, antenna models were created and simulated to assess parameters like gain, reflection coefficient, and VSWR at 2.6 GHz. Results were analyzed in SPSS for comparative purposes. Notably, the new dipole antenna in Group 1, covering 2.2 GHz to 3.2 GHz, exhibited superior performance compared to other groups, as indicated by a one-way ANOVA test. The significance level was set at p=0.05, suggesting strong antenna performance. The dipole antennas in Group 2 and helical antennas in Groups 3 and 4 also showed respectable metrics within their respective frequency ranges. This comprehensive analysis sheds light on the effectiveness of the new antenna design in the specified frequency band.
