Research on Internet of Vehicles Computing Resource Allocation Algorithm based on Edge Computing

The Internet of Vehicles is one of the essential technologies in the field of unmanned driving in the future. As a promising technology, mobile edge computing can provide a low-latency and high-reliability computing environment for the Internet of Vehicles, alleviate the task computing pressure of a single intelligent driving vehicle, and improve the data transmission efficiency of the entire Internet of Vehicles system. In this work, we propose a novel framework to the joint access strategy and computing resource allocation algorithm based on the minimization of task computing delay, and the joint short packet length optimization and resource allocation algorithm based on the maximization of task offloading. The efficient allocation of edge computing resources is one of the key challenges to achieve this. Computing resource allocation algorithms play a central role here, requiring intelligent resource management to ensure that data transfer and processing between vehicles and between vehicles and infrastructure are both efficient and fair. Effective algorithms can optimize resource usage, reduce latency, and improve the performance of the entire system.
