Although digital currencies are unlikely to replace traditional government-issued money, they may have an impact on how global online marketplaces interact with one another by removing the constraints associated with traditional public currency forms and exchange rates. Gold is another commodity which greatly influences the world economy. This research aims to provide a study on hypothetical monetary differences between bitcoin and gold. This article also analyzes the legality of digital currencies and their susceptibility to future government regulations along with investment in Bitcoin and Gold.
