Comparative Analysis of Polar Positioning Performance of GNSS based on STK

In order to grasp the positioning performance of the four major global satellite navigation systems in the polar region, the standard constellations of the four systems were constructed using STK software. Through simulations of the visible satellites count, GDOP, navigation accuracy, and other indicators at seven typical stations in the polar region, the performance advantages and disadvantages of the four systems were statistically analyzed. The results showed that GALILEO had the best positioning performance at typical stations in the polar region, GPS performed the worst, and China's self-developed BDS belonged to the upper middle level.
