Analyzing the Technological Framework for E-Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

This study investigates the dynamic landscape of e-health adoption in Saudi Arabia, contextualized within the wider framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. E-health, an integral element of contemporary healthcare provision, is in accordance with international efforts to promote innovation, facilitate information accessibility, and enhance infrastructure development. The Kingdom’s commitment to leverage technology in the provision of public services, with a specific focus on healthcare, is clearly demonstrated through many programs that get funding from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Vision 2030. This research examines the technological framework and implementation of e-health in Saudi Arabia, evaluating the effectiveness of strategies, and the technological frameworks that support these initiatives. Moreover, the research proposes a new framework to enhance the level of health in KSA based on the newest technologies and services. The research finds that there are notable advancements made in e-health implementation in KSA. However, there are a few challenges that need to be addressed in order to achieve sustained success. The objective of this study is to provide valuable insights that can help the current measures aimed at realizing the Kingdom’s vision of fostering a prosperous society and economy by establishing a strong and sustainable healthcare system.
