Research and application of UAV-based high-altitude base station in air-heaven network

6G uses the integrated network architecture of air and earth to achieve seamless global coverage, and space-based network is an important part of the integrated network of air and earth, and the organic combination of the three to achieve seamless coverage of the global network. Uav technology is developing rapidly, and high-altitude base stations using drones as liftoff platforms have a wide range of flexible and mobile coverage, which can be widely used in emergency communication, enhanced coverage and other scenarios. This paper first introduces the development trend and analysis of high-altitude base stations (HAPS), then puts forward the challenges of UAV-based high-altitude base stations in backflight, lift-off platform and communication capability, introduces the practical application and testing of UAV-based high-altitude base stations, and finally puts forward relevant development suggestions.
