Research on the New Generation of Multi-mode Mobile Radio’s Redundant Control

With the rapid development of urban rail transit, higher requirements have been put forward for the real-time and reliability of wireless train command and dispatch communication. Most existing mobile radios adopt a single core processor scheme, making it difficult for the system to complete the specified functions in the event of local faults, which prolongs the fault handling time. Therefore, applying redundant technology to the control module of mobile radios has extremely important practical significance. By using the method of dual CPU redundancy switching, two CPUs verify each other, one main and one backup, ensuring information synchronization while achieving fault detection, enabling undisturbed switching function in the event of a fault. This article elaborates on the communication control module of the mobile radio for reference.
