Fingerprint based Portable Attendance Monitoring System using Raspberry Pi Pico

The attendance system plays a very vital role in tracking individuals, whether they are present or absent. Typically used in educational institutes for students or business organizations for employees. Developing an effective portal handset with software to automate student attendance systems and maintain accuracy is the key motivation behind this project research paper. In today’s rapidly evolving technological era, attendance is still made on paper and records are maintained, which frequently results in inefficiencies and inaccuracies. So, there is a need for an efficient, accurate, and portable attendance management system in educational as well as in organization. The Fingerprint Based Attendance System with Microcontroller as Raspberry Pi Pico, Flask & Django Web Interface with SQL Database” project aims to create a portable module capable of fingerprint recognition for student identification for college.
