Numerical Simulation of Structural Damage Due to Underwater Impact Targets

In this paper, the dynamic response of cylindrical shell under underwater contact shock and near-field shock is simulated and calculated by using the transient dynamic finite element software MSC.DYTRAN. The calculation results show that underwater contact shock is direct damage. In the near-field shock, the cylindrical shell is affected by the shock wave, and in addition, the subsequent bubble pulsation pressure lasts a long time and has a very strong destructive force.
