Research on the Integration of Multimodal Teaching Resources based on Metaverse

Metaverse teaching has become an important trend in the development of education in the new era, giving education a strong vitality and innovative power. It provides groundbreaking educational environments and tools for education. At the same time, Metaverse can provide an immersive teaching interactive field for teachers and learners, meeting the needs of them in the physical and virtual worlds of learning. Based on an overview of the educational Metaverse, this study describes the research trends and development characteristics of the Metaverse and multimodal teaching resources. This paper mainly examines a multimodal teaching resource knowledge fusion model from three aspects. Firstly, the concept of knowledge integration is described in terms of the characteristics of multimodal educational knowledge. Secondly, we introduce several current advanced Metaverse educational techniques. In addition, the process of multimodal teaching resource integration is also discussed in detail. Educational Metaverse can provide immersive, authentic, interactive, innovative, diverse and collaborative educational word. It can effectively assist education and teaching, promote reform and innovation, and have a good role in promoting the future development of education.
