An Investigation into the Use of Educational Apps in EFL Courses

The goal of this article was to investigate the use of educational apps in the teaching of English at a vocational college. Participants were 43 English teachers with at least one year of experience at this college. They were asked to provide information on the most effective app they had previously used. The results indicate 12 applications for English teaching activities, with Quizizz ranking first, followed by Blooket and Kahoot. The majority of teachers use apps to teach vocabulary, followed by grammar, speaking, listening, writing, and reading. The applications were utilized for both in-class activities and student homework. In general, student engagement was seen. However, there were numerous concerns that needed to be addressed.
