Methodology for Constructing a Spatial Analytical Model of the Route of Urban Passenger Transport Based on the Use of Bezier Curves

This article concerns the issues of constructing a spatial analytical model of the route of a passenger vehicle of public transport with an automated control system. The control system task is automatically maintain the vehicle's movement according to a given schedule. This model is subject to a number of kinematic and dynamic restrictions. In particular, the model must, for each section of the route, describe a separate analytical expression. It determine the maximum permissible speed, which depends on weather conditions that affect the coefficient of adhesion of the car's wheels to the road. The article outlines an approach to constructing a digital route model based on the theory of Bezier curves.
