Equipment Preparation for 26 MHz Band Synchronous DRM Trial Broadcasting

We are considering equipment preparation for organizing a local synchronous digital radio broadcasting trial network of the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) standard in the 26 MHz band. Two broadcast points were used: “Kurkino” with 500 W average transmitter power and 100 m antenna height; and “MTUCI” with 100 W average transmitter power and 35 m antenna height. A description of the equipment used, the setup procedure and measured parameters are provided. The measurements carried out in the trial zone confirmed the correct operation of the single-frequency network as a whole.
