Intelligent Detection and Object Localization System based on Acoustic Data

This paper presents an approach to the development of an intelligent system for the detection and localization of objects based on acoustic data. The key element of the system implementation is the use of a microphone array that collects acoustic information from various directions. The collected data is fed into a neural network algorithm that is capable of simultaneously analyzing eight sound tracks. Multi-channel processing allows the system to detect the presence of an object in a given area, localize its location and, in the case of directional movement of the object, indicate the trajectory of movement. The system is capable of analyzing audio data in real time, which makes it suitable for applications in various fields, including safety, environmental monitoring and automated surveillance systems.
