The Graph Model Under Intuitionistic Fuzzy Preference Considering Consensus and Attitudes

For better describing the choice of decision-makers' strategic behavior in complex conflict environments and exploring the evolution of decision-makers’ equilibrium states under different attitudes, consensus and nonconsensus preferences based on intuitionistic fuzzy sets within the framework of the graph model for conflict resolution are developed. Specifically, to enrich and improve the existing methods for identifying consensus, the intuitionistic fuzzy distance is utilized to calculate the consensus and nonconsensus preferences of decision makers. Based on the consensus and nonconsensus preferences, stability concepts under three different kinds of attitudes, “win–win,” “self-interested,” and “neutral,” are defined to calculate equilibrium solutions. The land acquisition conflict is investigated to verify the applicability of the proposed model. The analysis results show the following: First, the consensus measure method based on the intuitionistic fuzzy distance has stronger applicability to simplify the calculation steps when there are multiple feasible states compared with the existing consensus measure methods; second, under consensus and nonconsensus preferences, the equilibrium results can reflect the differences in strategy choices with different attitudes of decision makers; third, the equilibria are not the same under the three different attitudes of “win–win,” “self-interested,” and “neutral,” while the equilibrium solution in reality is closer to the optimal solution under the “self-interested” attitude.
