Study on Power Plant Load Participation in Grid Peak Shaving Technology

With the continuous increase in the capacity of renewable energy generation in our country, effectively balancing the supply and demand contradictions in the power system has become a significant challenge for load regulation in the power system. In response to this issue, this paper proposes a method for power plant auxiliary load participation in peak shaving of the power grid. By establishing and analyzing a peak shaving incentive mechanism model for the contribution of power plant auxiliary loads to peak shaving, an electricity pricing strategy is formulated based on this model. This paper utilizes real power grid data to validate the feasibility of industrial electricity consumption participating in peak load regulation.
