Key Technology and Standardization Route for New Electronic and Electrical Architecture of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles

The development demand for electrification, connected, intelligence, and sharing of intelligent and connected vehicles have placed new requirements on electronic and electrical architecture, leading to a gradual shift from a distributed architecture to domain-centralized architecture and central centralized architecture. The essence of the new electronic and electrical architecture is to provide a service-oriented distributed heterogeneous computing platform for vehicles, covering elements such as automotive electronic software architecture, hardware architecture, and communication architecture. As a centralized embodiment of the basic support and key common technology of intelligent and connected vehicles, its standardization research is inevitable. This paper analyzed the standardization needs of the new electronic and electrical architecture for supporting the development of intelligent and connected vehicles from the aspects of functional architecture, software architecture, physical architecture, data architecture, and network architecture. Based on the development trend of the industry and key technology research status, this paper proposed a standardization route and guidance suggestions for the new development stage to help enterprises build a new electronic and electrical architecture technology system for intelligent and connected vehicles.
