Design and research of an automated traditional Chinese medicine dispensing system based on PLC

In order to solve the problem of inconvenient dispensing in automated traditional Chinese medicine rooms, a new structure automatic dispensing system was designed. The mechanical structure composition and working principle of the dispensing system were mainly introduced, and key components such as the connecting rod flipping mechanism were emphasized. Then, a mathematical model of the designed slider rocker mechanism was established and kinematic analysis was conducted, and its motion curve was drawn. In addition, a comprehensive explanation was given on the hardware and software parts of the electromechanical control system using PLC controllers.
