Highly Reliable Multi-Microgrid Connect Method with Fast Transfer of Supply

Multi-microgrid is an important way to promote source-grid-load-storage interaction and efficient use of new energy. When a fault occurs in the multi-microgrid, the system voltage and frequency stability can be maintained through topology reconfiguration, which ensures continuous and reliable power supply for important loads. However, the topology reconfiguration speed of the AC circuit breaker-based multi-micro grid connect method is significantly affected by the performance of the AC breakers, which makes it difficult to adapt to emergency control needs. Aiming at the above problem, a highly reliable multi-microgrid connect method with fast transfer of supply is proposed, and its coordinated control strategy is given. The proposed multi-microgrid connect method uses bidirectional thyristors instead of AC breakers to reduce the time needed to open/close the AC breakers. Moreover, the corresponding multi-agent-based coordinated control strategy is proposed to realize the high reliability of multi-microgrid with the goal of maximizing the consumption of renewable energy. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by simulation.
