Station AC Power Insulation Ground Fault True Type Simulation and Wire Selection Identification Technology

It is difficult to accurately identify the single-phase insulation-to-ground faults in station AC/DC power supplies. To this end, a true-type simulation method of insulation grounding fault arc and the identification method of fault phase time-frequency characteristics are proposed. Insulation grounding fault arc true type simulation using AC arc generator to detect the insulation grounding fault arc voltage and current, the construction of data-driven arc model, implanted in the AC-DC power supply simulation system to obtain the residual current. The time-frequency feature of fault phase is identified by using wavelet analysis to cluster the time-frequency feature of fault and non-fault phase, and the detection method of fault phase feature is put forward considering different grounding current, different power quality and different load. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed fault phase time-frequency characteristics identification method is verified by using the AC-DC power supply simulation system based on the true type simulation of insulation grounding fault and the Monte Carlo test method, which provides a more effective solution for the station AC power supply insulation grounding fault monitoring.
