A Three-Axis Stability Control Method for Marine RCS Measuring Equipment

RCS measuring equipment is a device used to measure the radar cross section of the target. Due to the sway of the ship, the ship-borne RCS measuring equipment cannot ensure that the antenna points to the target stably. In this paper, a gyro-based speed feedforward control method is proposed. The antenna azimuth, pitch and feed angle are controlled by servomechanism to helpkeep the antenna pointing and feed rolling stable. Finally, the simulation model is built and the simulation results show that the designed three-axis stability control method has good control effect.
