Pattern-Moving-Based Adaptive Tracking Control for a Class of SIMO Nonlinear Systems

This work addresses a two-segment adaptive tracking control method for a class of SIMO nonlinear systems. Through feature extraction, pattern classification and metric of multiple outputs of nonlinear system, the SISO dynamic description mode of the system is obtained, and a noisy FIR model is adopted as the initial output model structure of dynamic description. In view of the multi-threshold observation output characteristics in the dynamic description, a two-segment adaptive tracking control method is proposed. The running time of the system is divided into several equal parts, and then each part includes two segments, one of which is used as the input design segment for parameter identification, and the other is employed to calculate the control law based on the principle of certainty equivalence. A numerical case is given to demonstrate the designed approach.
