BEST -SPS: A Blockchain-based Electricity Service Platform for Subcontracting Power Supply

Commercial subcontracting power supply involves independent subjects subcontracting power from power grid enterprises to deliver it to end-users, where the lack of a platform result in a lack of comprehensive support and services for the involved consumers. Furthermore, this process often faces challenges related to data security and effective regulation. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of BEST-SPS, a Blockchain-based Electricity Service Platform for subcontracting power utility services platform, leveraging the blockchain’ s traceability and immutability properties. BEST-SPS addresses the current inefficiencies and security concerns in the business subcontracting power supply model, ultimately offering a more robust and user-centric solution, aiming to standardize subcontracting power supply pricing, maintain transparency in pricing policies, and enhance the pricing mechanism, while also providing a more comprehensive range of services to all users.
