Optimal Dung Beetle Algorithm for Fused Spiral Feeding

In order to improve the dung beetle optimization algorithm is prone to fall into the problem of local optimal. In this paper, Manta ray spiral foraging mechanism was integrated into the regeneration stage of rolling dung beetles and female breeding dung beetles, so as to improve the ability of the algorithm to jump out of the local optimal and search speed. Compared with whale optimization algorithm and gray Wolf optimization algorithm, six benchmark test functions are used to test the improved algorithm. The experiment proves that the improved algorithm has better global optimization ability and convergence speed than other comparison algorithms. The feasibility and practicability of the improved dung beetle algorithm in practical application are verified.
