Optimal Scheduling of Virtual Power Plant Considering Wind and Solar Uncertainty and Integrated Demand Response

Aiming at the uncertainty of wind and solar and the realization of low-carbon economic operation of virtual power plant(VPP), this paper establishes a low-carbon economic dispatch model for VPP considering the uncertainty of wind and solar and integrated demand response(IDR), with the objective of minimizing VPP operation costs under the carbon trading mechanism. Firstly, the uncertainty of wind and solar is handled by the methods of opportunity constraints and sequence operation theory(SOT), and the required reserve power of VPP is obtained by setting certain confidence level parameters to ensure the safe and steady operation of VPP. Secondly, a source-load coordinated response mechanism is proposed to enhance the overall flexible operation of the system and further reduce the operating cost of VPP. Finally, the CPLEX solver is invoked to solve the model, and the validity of the proposed model is verified through case simulation.
