Shift Process Analysis of Automatic Transmission Based on Lever Analogy

this paper presents an approach to improve the lever analogy used in for analyzing automatic transmissions has been perfected and future developed in this paper. More specifically through the analysis of shift process for of automatic transmission with a power split mechanism base on lever analogy, is studied by using the lever analogy of planetary gear-set with power split are given. Analysis and calculation of dynamic torques of all components in shift process are provided from the systematic model. The validity of the lever analogy is verified by analysis of using the testing data from the shift process of a seven-speed automatic transmission.
