Design of Web-Based Monitoring System for the External Target Facility

The External Target Facility (ETF) in Cooler Storage Ring(CSR) of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL) is a critical platform for the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is instrumental in conducting experimental research on nuclear matter properties and radioactive ion beam physics. In order to meet the needs of researchers who cannot go to the experimental area to monitor data, this article designed a monitor system based on the Web technologies and Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System(EPICS). The system outlined in this paper comprises a Web server and a front-end Vue framework. It effectively monitors the Process Variable (PV) data from slow-control devices within the ETF and offers functionalities such as login verification and permission management. The proposed design approach also allows application in other platforms beyond the ETF.
