Detection of Drainage Well Cover Blockage Based on Machine Vision

Blockage of manhole covers cannot be detected and dealt with in a timely manner, posing a hidden danger to urban safety. This article focuses on the common problem of blocked drainage well covers in daily life, using machine vision methods to establish a machine vision detection process, in order to provide early warning, timely clean up blockages, and eliminate hidden dangers. The main process includes: data collection, significance detection based on FT algorithm for images, edge detection based on Sobel operator for grayscale images, rectangular calibration for edge detection images, and finally calculating the pixel points in the corresponding grayscale images. Based on the calculation results, the warning level is determined and early warning is given. The method is simple and feasible, and has certain engineering application value.
